What is 5+ 3+ 3+ 4?
Under the new education policy, the format of 10+2 has been completely abolished, making a big change in school education. Till now the school curriculum in our country runs according to 10+2 but now it will be according to 5+ 3+ 3+ 4. This means that schooling is now divided for children ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18. In this there will be one part from primary to second grade, then second part from third to fifth, third part from sixth to eighth and last part from ninth to 12th.
According to the government, its purpose is to bring children of 3-6 years who have been kept away till now, under the school curriculum, which is necessary for the mental development of the child. The new system will have 12 years of schooling with three years of Anganwadi/Pre schooling.
NCERT to create National Curriculum
NCERT will develop a National Curriculum and Educational Framework for Early Childhood Care and Education (NCPFECCE) for children up to the age of 8 years. Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) will be provided through an elaborate and robust institution system. This will also include Anganwadi and Pre-Schools with trained teachers and Anganwadi workers in ECCE pedagogy and curriculum. The planning and implementation of ECCE will be done jointly by the Ministries of Human Resource Development, Women and Child Development (WCD), Health and Family Welfare (HFW), and Tribal Affairs.

Vocational education will start in schools from class VI and will include internships.
According to a press release issued by the government, the school’s curriculum and pedagogy will aim at holistic development of students by equipping them with key skills or practical knowledge of the 21st century, and the curriculum will be reduced to a greater focus on experiential learning. Go.
